Refund Policy.

Purchase refunds

This policy applies to Realm Planner subscriptions and one-time optimizer credit packs. Realm Planner is an Ontario-registered sole proprietorship. Paddle is the merchant of record and handles payment refunds under its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms.

We do not offer an additional Realm Planner money-back guarantee or automatic prorated refunds for unused subscription time. This does not limit Paddle’s refund authority or your mandatory rights. Review Paddle’s policy for the applicable regional rules and request periods; a discretionary request is not a guarantee of approval.

How to request help or a refund

Use the support link in your Paddle receipt or visit Paddle buyer support to request a refund or exercise withdrawal rights. For product problems or help identifying a purchase, email support@realmplanner.com with your purchase reference, account email, and a short description. Do not send passwords or full card details.

Paddle determines and processes payment refunds under its policy and applicable law. Processing and payment-method timing follow Paddle’s published terms. Contact us about persistent technical problems so we can investigate; contacting support does not waive your right to seek a remedy.

Subscriptions, renewals, and trials

Cancellation stops future renewal and is separate from a refund request for an existing charge. Open Paddle’s customer portal through Billing or your receipt to cancel. Access ordinarily continues until the current paid period ends.

Where offered, the three-day Premium trial includes 5 trial credits and requires a payment method. Cancel before trial end to avoid the first monthly charge. If the trial converts to paid access or a subscription renews, any refund request follows Paddle’s applicable rules and mandatory consumer rights. Deleting an account or workspace is not a substitute for cancelling through Paddle.

Optimizer credits and adjustments

A released optimizer reservation returns credits to the available balance under the grant’s normal expiry rules; it is not a monetary refund. A validated, usable result consumes the search credits even if you choose not to apply it. Applying and then undoing a result does not refund the search charge.

Included credits expire at the end of their monthly window, and trial credits expire at trial end. Purchased packs are separate, non-expiring grants while the workspace exists, but spending them requires eligible paid access. Unused credits do not create an additional cash-refund promise or override your legal rights.

Approved pack refunds or payment reversals remove the associated credits, proportionately for partial refunds and in full for a full reversal. If credits have already been spent, the balance can become negative and new searches are blocked until later grants cover it. Refunds or disputes may also affect access to the purchased service. We apply changes from verified billing records.

Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy or our Terms of Service excludes rights that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights concerning faulty or misdescribed services, withdrawal, cancellation, or payment disputes. Applicable law and any greater protection under Paddle’s purchase terms prevail over conflicting wording here.

Rights and deadlines vary by location and purchase type. Starting a trial, using credits, or accepting these Terms does not by itself waive a statutory right. Consult the regional sections of Paddle’s Refund Policy and submit requests promptly.
