Agreement and contact

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Realm Planner, an Ontario-registered sole proprietorship (“Realm Planner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Our Refund Policy explains purchase refunds and withdrawal rights.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age for your chosen Google or Discord account in your country. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. Purchases require an adult or the authorization of a responsible parent or guardian.

Google and Discord sign-in are governed by those services’ own terms. Protect access to your account and report suspected unauthorized use. Do not sell, rent, or share account credentials. Workspace invitations provide separate access for collaborators. We do not promise that separately created Google and Discord accounts can be merged.

Planning and plan tiers

Realm Planner is an independent browser-based tool for hypothetical Rise of Kingdoms territory layouts. It does not control the game, connect to your game account, or perform actions in the game. Feature availability depends on the selected plan, supported maps, and the services currently enabled.

• Free: manual home-kingdom planning and version-bound drafts stored in your browser, without an account.
• Strategist: supported KvK planning, a cloud library, unlisted sharing and imports, two editor seats including the owner, and 20 included optimizer credits per monthly credit window.
• Premium: Strategist features, five editor seats including the owner, live editor collaboration, priority optimizer scheduling, and 50 included optimizer credits per monthly credit window.

Paid workspaces support up to 100 saved plans, including archived plans. Prices and available offers appear on Pricing and at checkout. Priority scheduling does not guarantee a start or completion time.

Workspaces and collaboration

Paid access, cloud plans, memberships, and optimizer credits belong to a workspace. The owner controls billing and ownership. Owners, admins, and editors consume editor seats; viewers have assigned read-only access. Admins can manage members and plans but cannot manage billing or delete the workspace.

Invite only people you intend to authorize. Editors can change workspace plans, and authorized members may export or copy content. Premium live collaboration shares editor presence, display names, cursors, selections, and changes with other eligible editors. Viewers use static read-only access and refresh to see updates.

Planning and optimizer results

Planner calculations and optimizer suggestions are advisory. Automated results are not guaranteed to be optimal, complete, error-free, current with game updates, or successful in actual play. Maps, obstacles, resources, landmarks, costs, and game rules can differ from the game or change. Review results before using them.

Standard and Deep searches use your plan and selected objectives to produce candidate layouts. A search may queue, fail, or find no usable result. Applying a result is a separate action and may be unavailable if the plan has changed. You remain responsible for alliance decisions and in-game outcomes.

Optimizer credits

Standard searches cost 1 credit and Deep searches cost 5 credits. Submission reserves credits; they are consumed when the service stores at least one validated, usable result, whether or not you later apply it. Rejected, failed, timed-out, cancelled, or no-solution searches release their reservation. Undoing an applied result does not reverse a completed search charge. Only one optimizer job can be active per workspace; additional abuse-prevention limits apply.

Included credits refresh in monthly windows, including on annual subscriptions. Unused included credits expire and do not roll over. Purchased credits do not expire while the workspace exists, but require eligible paid access to use and cannot be used while access is paused or cancelled. A subscription ending does not itself erase purchased credits.

Credit packs are one-time purchases available to active paid Strategist and Premium workspaces, not trial workspaces. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred separately between workspaces. Refunded or disputed purchases can reverse credits and restrict further searches; see the Refund Policy.

Subscriptions, prices, and trials

Monthly and annual subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled. Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases and handles payment collection, tax, invoices, and recurring billing under its Paddle Buyer Terms. Checkout displays the applicable currency, billing interval, taxes, total, and payment schedule. Website prices labelled before tax do not include the final address-based tax calculation.

Where offered, the three-day Premium trial requires a payment method and includes 5 trial credits. Eligibility is limited to one trial per account and workspace, subject to prior subscription history. Trial credits expire at trial end. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the trial converts to the monthly Premium subscription disclosed at checkout. The normal included-credit window starts when paid access activates.

Review the checkout confirmation and billing page for your subscription dates and scheduled changes. Applicable notice and consent requirements continue to apply to renewals, trials, and price changes.

Cancellation

The workspace owner can open Paddle’s customer portal from Billing, or use the management link in the Paddle receipt, to cancel. Cancellation ordinarily stops the next renewal while access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancelling during the trial before its end avoids the first subscription charge and keeps trial access until trial end.

Account or workspace deletion is separate from cancelling a subscription. Cancel through Paddle before deleting your account or workspace. Cancellation does not automatically request a refund. Purchase refund rules and withdrawal instructions are in our Refund Policy.

Your plans and unlisted sharing

You retain your rights in the content you create. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, validate, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You must have the rights necessary to submit and share it.

Share links are unlisted, not confidential: anyone with the link can view the shared snapshot and, with eligible access, import an independent copy. A link represents a fixed revision rather than automatically publishing later edits. Links can be forwarded. Revoking a link does not delete copies already imported, exported, or otherwise saved by others.

Do not put credentials, personal contact details, private communications, or sensitive information into plans. Use workspace access controls for collaboration and review membership and sharing permissions.

Storage, loss of access, and deletion

Local drafts remain in the device and browser profile that created them. Clearing site data, browser failure, or incompatible versions can make them unavailable. Cloud saving and exports are separate actions; keep your own copies of important plans.

When paid access lapses, the owner retains cloud-plan recovery controls, including reading, exporting, archiving, and deleting plans. Editing, sharing, optimization, and other members’ access are restricted. We do not promise indefinite storage or a fixed automatic deletion period following cancellation.

Account deletion requires recent sign-in. Owners must first transfer or explicitly delete their workspace. Deletion can affect collaborators and workspace credits; it does not remove independently saved copies or browser-local drafts. The Privacy Policy describes retention and exceptions.

Acceptable use

Do not break the law, infringe others’ rights, submit malicious content, impersonate others, access accounts or plans without permission, bypass payment or usage limits, or disrupt the service. Do not scrape non-public data, resell access, or use automated requests to evade controls. Security research must not access others’ data or disrupt their use; contact support to report a vulnerability.

Intellectual property and independent status

Realm Planner’s original software, branding, text, and design belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for personal or internal alliance planning under these Terms.

Realm Planner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Lilith Games or Rise of Kingdoms. Third-party names, maps, images, icons, trademarks, and other materials belong to their respective owners. Use of the service does not grant you a licence to redistribute third-party materials.

Service changes and suspension

We may update features to address game changes, security, legal requirements, and service operation. For material changes adversely affecting an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice unless urgent security or legal action prevents it, subject to applicable consumer rights.

We may restrict access for non-payment, fraud, security risks, unlawful use, or material breach. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Service interruptions and external provider failures may affect availability.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted operation, permanent retention, or fitness for a particular planning outcome. Nothing here excludes warranties, quality standards, remedies, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, game resources, opportunities, or data. Our aggregate liability for ordinary claims is limited to the amounts you paid for Realm Planner subscriptions and credit packs through Paddle in the 12 months before the event. This limitation applies only where lawful and does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.

Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Ontario courts have jurisdiction subject to mandatory rights to bring proceedings where you live. Please contact support to try to resolve a concern; this is not a condition that prevents exercising a legal right.

Consumer protections that apply where you live prevail over conflicting terms. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration, waive class proceedings, or restrict cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Our choice of law does not remove mandatory protections in Canada, Quebec, the United States, the EEA, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms

Updates will carry a new effective date. Material changes affecting account holders will be communicated through an appropriate service notice, with additional consent where required by law. Continued use constitutes acceptance only where applicable law permits. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective to the extent permitted by law.
